Dignity is the north star by which we come together as neighbors.

Our food pantry exists to help end hunger across a priority service area composed of 15 villages. We are doing this by building a place where neighbors in need can, with dignity, choose the food they need in a welcoming environment.

Here, visitors and volunteers can connect as neighbors. Such ordinary engagement can make an extraordinary difference in the lives of those we are here to serve, and in the lives of all who care.

“The food, it’s healthy. And the people are so caring. They make me feel like a decent human being.”

— Neighbor in need

We’re all neighbors here.

We welcome individuals and groups of all ages to partner with us to help end hunger in our region. Share Food Share Love is a perfect place to contribute to this change, while growing in your confidence, problem-solving, and community building skills.

We have uplifting work to do.

Hunger persists in our region for many reasons. One of those reasons is the persistence of stigmatizing prejudice. We know that there are those who will sit in judgement of our neighbors in need. We know there are those who will be skeptical of what we are doing here. So, we need caring volunteers who have higher expectations of ourselves and for the communities in which we live.

“There’s no feeling on my part that you're a failure because you have to come to the food pantry. I’ve seen a variety of people getting help. Someone my kid went to school with. Their parents. It can be anyone."
