Our food pantry is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Annual Services Report

The year 2025 marks our 10th year of service. Today, we primarily serve 15 villages in southwestern Cook County. While it is our goal to continue the expansion of our pantry’s services, our greatest hope is that one day there will no longer be a need for organizations like ours.

Toward that end, we must address the causes of hunger in our region. Recognizing that we are all neighbors in a broad, inter-community endeavor to solve a shared problem:

  • 15 contiguous villages

  • Over 7,000 resident neighbors live in households having incomes below the Federal Poverty Line (FPL).

  • Over 14,000 more live in households with incomes marginally above the FPL.

  • Over 70% of the above 21,000+ live in just 6 of our villages

The percentage of individuals likely facing food insecurity are those living below 200% of the federal poverty level (FPL). In 2025, 200% FPL for a household of four is $64,300.
